Principles of casting design including both shell and solid investment approaches to pattern making and gating systems.  Principles of furnace building and operation.  Applications of digital technology in foundry operations focusing on 3D modeling and 3D printing. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites:
304 and 343, or permission of Instructor.
